There are actual Black people that live their entire lives and don’t say the n-word. Why do non-Black people feel like they, of all people, “need” to lmao? Just to hurt Black people, it is so obvious. They’d rather argue about why they should be able to for 10 years than take 10 seconds to have a heart and realize that it’s not theirs and it hurts when they use it. You are honestly worthless to me if you’re not Black and you use it like.. that’s that, get through it.

This time last year I was unemployed, broke, and suicidal.

Today, I just got the keys to my first house.

Give it time.

Needed this today

when you hear people preach that it gets better, they aren’t joking. if it’s not better yet, it will be.

this post could literally be saving lives rn and that is why i love this website.

I love the difference between Katara and Toph.

Katara’s like, “You catch more flies with honey than vinegar” and she’s this wonderful, nurturing, caring and patient woman who gently guides Korra toward healing.

Then you’ve got Toph, who’s like, “Honey is for wimps. More vinegar! Pour it in a wound for an extra zing!” And then she smacks Korra in the face with a rock.

In short, I love both of these women so damned much.

Heres something I noticed when referring back to the trailer after watching the episode. If these spirit vines are able to regenerate easily(like in the scene in 3x01 after Korra tries to spirit bend them away), then imagine how much spirit energy/power they could gain from them. Kuvira is going to need something to help run her army and those giant mecha tanks.

In the clip from the trailer, we see Varrick’s hair blowing but what is more important is the background. There are multiple smaller pieces of spirit vine in their own tubes. I think these individual tubes will be used to run the mecha tanks. In the screen shot from The Coronation, there are wires hooked up to the vines, like they are going to drain the energy. You can see the bolts on the capsules are similar. If I was going to put a tube that holds my power source, I would probably put it in the back of the suit also.

I also want to mention the fact that there was some HUGE foreshadowing to this in the season finale of Book 2. Varrick is in prison, but what exactly sets him free? THE SPIRIT VINES.

Also Bryke mentioned that there was something that links books 2, 3, and 4 together. I think this is what they were talking about.
